Its prob just an ingrowing hair...
Ill tell you how to get rid of them...
simply by an exfoliating wash. (You know the washed that have them little bits in them, they are kind of like sand or like little bits of stones) It will remove the top layer of dead skin and will allow the hair to grow through normally.
Hope ive helped

Firstly, it's "I shaved somewhere I shouldn't have."

Secondly, it's most likely to be shaving rash. I would guess from the way that your question is written that you are quite young and have little or no experience of using a razor on any part of your anatomy. You don't say how long you've had the 'red bump' so it's a little difficult to know how long it will last, but not more that a few days I'd think.

Finally, why do you think that is somewhere that you shouldn't shave? Many women do it, and so do an increasing number of men. I have been doing it for many years for a variety of reasons. Just remember that if you are going to shave 'down there', to make sure that you soak the area well, preferably in a warm bath, use a good quality shaving gel and a sharp razor, rinse and dry thoroughly and apply a good unscented body lotion immediately afterwards. Most important of all, take your time, don't rush, that's when you make mistakes, it's not an area where you want to be getting wreckless with a razor.

Possibly just an ingrown hair, put some aloe vera gel on it and avoid irritating it further - next time know better!

You have probably pulled out a hair or two that's why it's painful. It will clear up in time and when you do it again use more lubrication and a sharp razor!

you could have an infection which is erupting into a boil. If so it is going to be painful and may eventually burst and release the infection. If it persists go see your GP. Lesson learnt maybe??
