Because you've been brainwashed into thinking it'll make you a martyr. Or you have nothing in your life worth living for, the oppression feels too much.
If you have very strong beliefs about what is right and wrong, you may decide to seek revenge or lash out in very strange ways. Anger and resentment are dangerous emotions when not kept in check.

DON'T call these ISLAMOFASCISTS British Nationals!!! Don't insult Britain! They don't deserve the title. They do not represent Britain. They are not native Britons. They are Pakistanis who live here but adhere to the principles of Islam and to the radical views that they have to do a "jihad" on the West. They hate Britain for everything except our welfare benefits and NHS.
As for "understanding" them what is the point trying to understand and reason with people who are so fanatical and insane and evil that they would murder innocent civillians over their political beleifs?! Its pointless. They deserve destruction not understanding. They went beyound that a long time ago.

They have been led to believe they are going on to a better place when they die. The sad thing is most Muslims hate what the terrorists do and wish they wouldn't use the Muslim religion as a justification for murdering innocent people. It's a scary world we live in!

Middle-eastern 'terrorists', fanatic religious zealots, believe they are doing what their God wants them to do.
George Bush, born-again Christian and President of the U.S.A., believe he's doing what his God wants him to do.
Not much difference....except for the fact that the 'terrorists' are totally committed to their cause, willing to sacrifice their own lives because they believe their God will reward them.
Bush, on the other hand, hasn't got the gonads to get blood on his own hands. He sends others to do his dirty work, totally isolating himself from the carnage his foolish orders create. He obviously doubts that his God will reward him for the evil he has rendered.
One more thing to ponder: COULD this possibly be a Bush 'fabrication' wherein he hired 21 people to get caught by the British police so that he could prove to his own countrymen that the "evil empire" still exists and we still must protect ourselves against "terrorism"? It would certainly boost his approval ratings! And everyone has already seen how Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld have total disregard for human life as long as their personal objectives are met (OIL). -RKO-

Why would someone enlist in the army during a time of war? They believe that it is necessary...the fact that most westerners don't have a clue as to what the motivating factor is among Islamic extremists speaks volumes about our media and our leaders...you would think we would know by now wouldn't you?

Terrorists terrorise. Terrorists continue to live in the continuum of life after their misdeeds. In suicide bombing the bombers die in the event(s). Terrorists harvest from the outcome of the events, if any. In suicide bombing the doers die as such cannot bring any personal gain. Suicide bombers do not continue to live in the continuum of life. As such I agree to that there is a need to think back on drawing board and review the whole situation.
Some believes Jesus sacrificed his own life (committed suicide) for the benefit of all of us. Are they following the example Jesus? If not whose and why.
Advertisements have greater influence on people. Many of the potential sites have been dramatically shown as the potential sites of bombing. As if they were advertisements giving idea to potentially vulnerable people.

british nationals, who are u kidding, its been one big plan since the start. from when the first of them arrived in this country, it has been their intention to disrupt the way of life for those in the west. Jeff Wayne's version of HG wells' 'War Of The Worlds', isnt talking about aliens from another planet, its just another country. listen to it, and make up your own mind. things will change!!! as more and more people, are becoming sick and tired of what is happening to this country.

To stop others stealing their oil (afghan,Iraq) and their land (Palestine).
There is NO war without cause. if someone hurt your family, friends, or country will you just keep doing nothing? I called it SELF-DEFENSE.
Do you really think US sent their troops with multi-million military equipments to afghan/irak because of 9/11?
Do you really really think throwing rocks to Israeli troops is a Palestine's best laid plans to attack Israel?
And don't forget what they've done to Bosnia!!
