It is pretty small, and has a green head and thorax. It has a small stinger, I found them attracted to my kitchen light.

I live in the desert of California. The bee is small and has a green head and thorax and a small stinger, I found them in my kitchen early this morning attracted to my kitchen light.

I don't think it is a bee cause some flays resembles bees to avoid enemies
