i think it is dumb to make 9/11 in to a movie. it happened not that long ago, people don't want to be reminded of the horrible events that happened that day. terrorists, war, innocent lives taken, i don't know about you, but it's all very fresh in my mind.

Movies have been made about some of these other events....lockerby for sure, Rwanda was another. The producers who put up the money have alot to do with what movies get made. If you want to make a movie about, say, Darfur, then get about 10-30 million dollars together and hire a director to go to Sudan and make it. Although I doubt anyone on that crew could get life insurance.

Anyone can make a movie. I don't know a single American that things only bad things happen to them.

Actually think for a minute you would be so naive and stupid.

First you say that there should be movies about the other main events in the world, then you say that a movie about the Towers isn't interesting. Apparently it got you interested.

I'm not promoting this movie at all. I think it's too soon for any movie about any of these events.

Don't be stupid and maybe you should think before you speak.

Uhh, what? You're asking why Hollywood (located, guess where? In America!) is making a movie about an event that happened in America? Gee...I don't know. Maybe it's American's watch a ton of movies, maybe it's because it's event that had a profound effect on Americans, maybe it's because a major star wanted to be in this movie, and a major director want to head it. Could it be a mix of all those reasons? Why, yes. Yes, it could, indeed.

If you want to watch a movie about the bombings in London, start a fund for one, or something. Don't expect us to make all your movies for you.

It is a true story but I think a movie profiting off the attack is in poor taste even if the money goes to something good. Perhaps a London film company should make a film about the disasters over there.

What a stupid dumbass twit of a Brit. Not all Brits are as self centered as you. Some have compassion. Learn to make movies and then you can choose what's good enough for your standards. Meanwhile shut the f*ck up.

I did see a movie about Lockerbee (you can't even spell it right) a couple of years ago.
Why did an activist such as you miss it?
Could it be you were whining and bitching about something more interesting at the time?
One more time.
Shut the f*ck up.

At first I was agreeing with you, but the more I read I realized you needed an output to complain. I do think it is to soon to have this movie but I dont think its bad idea. If you don't like it don't watch it. I understand that there has been all kinds of horrible things happen across the world but this one hit us this movie is meant for us. I am sorry you feel this way.

May be that is not interesting to you! But for somebody whos family member saw it and helped out there after that terrible day, you and I can't even imagine what it was like at all,I really feel like they shouln't have made the movie at all.!!! Many terrible things happen in the world everysday I don't need to be reminded of them

Because Oliver Stone is an American director, you idiot. If you want to see a movie about London, then have one of YOUR film makers make one.
And I think just a few more people were killed in 9/11 then in London. Get over yourself.
And thanks for the sympathy, loser.

Oh grow up and get over yourself. If you want to see movies made about bad stuff that happens in your country, contact someone in your own country's film industry and whine and complain to them. Learn how to spell and to punctuate your sentences. And shut your whiny mouth.
