I am hopefully getting a breast reduction due to back pain etc.....My surgeon says he is taking me down to a d cup. I was just wondering if people with D cup size breast are still comfortable and able to fit into clothing without any problems.

I love my size at 34D. I was a 34F(DDD) and miserable in it. No only did my back hurt, I had the worst time finding bras and clothing that fit. At a D I can go find bras everywhere, but my favorite is Victoria's. I love being able to wear sexy and pretty bras for once! Clothing fits better, and yes, it's easy to find stuff off the rack. Sometimes I still have problems with dresses being too loose in the waist by the time it fits by bust and hips, but I don't care that much since I almost never wear dresses.
Good Luck!

I would listen to your surgeon on this one. Depending on your body frame, a D might work well for you. I was a D cup by the age of 15 and I'm only 4'10! It was horribly uncomfortable and finding clothes was nearly impossible. I eventually ended up being a FF and got a reduction a few months ago. I'm now a C cup and they're still a little large for my liking. However, I am very small-framed. A D might be perfect on you.

Depends largely (totally unintentional pun!) on your band size. A 32 D is a far cry from a 40 D.
Anyhow, I'm a DD, and I can only wear knits, and even that can be tricky, because I want the girls to look good, but I don't want them to be the only thing anyone can see. I can't really shop in the women's department, because I swim in those shirts, except in the chest. I can't wear button down shirts, for the most part, in the misses dept. because of gapping, and tugging, etc.
But overall, I love them! I'm a bit overweight, and they balance out my body.
I had a friend who went from a D cup to an A cup, she was very overweight. I'm sure it helped her back pain, but she looked much worse after her surgery because her breasts no longer were larger than her stomach.
Good luck!

38DD

More: Lane Bryant is a great place to get comfortable, affordably priced bras for larger breasts, starting, I believe at size 38 D. And instead of having the purchas they only two available in the store (usually in a purple leopard print or something ridiculous), you can pick one you really like! You can get strapless, convertibles, sexy and everyday. I don't think you can get the sag-with-you-diagonal-line-across-the-boob-look-as-bad-as-possible kind, though. Bummer.

Ugh, are you serious? You're a B, that's big enough. Fake boobs may LOOK really nice, but don't guys always complain they feel weird? Plus why the hell would you go through that just to look sexier for guys.. you know old men are going to check you out and hit on you WAY more than they already do, right? Ew. If you can't get a boyfriend without increasing your boob size, fix your personality. Any guy who really loves you would rather you 'keep it real' haha :] Seriously, don't do it.

Mine are a 34DD but before I had my son they were a D and I had no back problems or anything like that.... if you're thin with larger breasts it can be hard (but not impossible) to find button down shirts that fit correctly, but other than that I think D is a great size.

I am a natural DD cup... Yes, I'm comfortable and usually have no problems finding cute clothes to wear. You will just have to shop around some. Good luck!!!

No i'm not happy with them. I'm a 40D, and i find it hard to find clothes that fit. Well, cute ones anyway. Yes, its easier to find bras and such, but they're heavy and they get in the way. I would love nothing more than to get a breast reduction and become like...Large b, small c

I'm a 36DD and I'm happy with them. So is my husband! They ARE natural BTW. They can be a pain in the a$$ at times, but I wouldn't want them any smaller. Good luck with the surgery.

It's fine for me... I've never had any trouble with being a D cup.
