If they put you in the trunk there are levers now that glow in the dark to open the trunk from the inside, or you can knock out the tail lights to get someone's attention.

If they put you in the back seat I guess it just depends on whether or not they have a gun. Try to hang in there until a moment arises that you can safely run to help.

Keep a cell phone on you at all times so that you can dial 911 and they can track you. You can try to talk to the kidnapper and give the operator clues to what is going on discreetly.

If in the trunk, pop out the tail lights, pull wires kick the sides and top to make dents.

If in the front, cause an accident by stepping on the accelerator or jerking the steering wheel. Unlock and jump out of the car, throw large amounts of stuff out the window.

If you're bound (tied up), scream and make noise any time you think someone's near that could hear. Kick out the windows.
