It is common sense that nothing can be made out of nothing.Things can come into being only out of something . Matter being indestructible , it can not also be created .it can only be changed from one to another ; but can never be destroyed .it may be visible or invisible tous too. are the scientists correct in quessing that initially ther was nothing and suddenly something appeard from nowher and the Big Bang was set off.?

BIG BANG is the just a theory which is created to explain the revolution of the Universe i.e to explain how galaxies, planets, stars etc. originated
yes something cannot be made from nothing but people are still searching the answers.. for people who believe in GOD say it is created by GOD

You're partially correct. What the scientists are observing is everything moving away from everything else, and slowing down (this is fact). Which means that in the past they were closer together, and moving faster (this is also fact, and has been observed), which means at some point, they were all together and accelerated away from each other at a very high speed, like an explosion. (big bang theory, logical explanation of the facts)

It's theorized that time began at this point. It's also true that matter and energy are conserved, which means that they could not have been created. I.e. there was no time when it didn't exist. They always existed, but time did not always exist. Since time did not exist before the big bang, there was no before the big bang.

It isn't true that scientists say the Big Bang came from nothing.

Based on the evidence (and I emphasize, evidence), scientists are satisfied that there was an explosion-like event out of which all the matter and energy of our universe was propagated around 15 billion years ago. (If someone has a better version of events, scientists the world over are waiting for the evidence.)

Where did the big bang come from? There is no evidence, and no reputable scientist will tell you otherwise. People of faith, like myself, will tell you that it was the action of God, but what sincerely religious people like me will not tell you is that this is a matter of science that can be demonstrated by evidence. There is no evidence of what came before.

Sometimes, fundamentalists mess with a witches brew of Bible-science. They carp against some principle of science (which they rarely understand anyway) as though their ignorance could somehow be deemed to disprove evidence. They usually wind up giving all religion, including their own, a bad name (although as a Catholic, let me assure you, They're not with us!)

Once upon a time, 20 billions of years ago, all matter
(all elementary particles and all quarks and
their girlfriends- antiparticles and antiquarks,
all kinds of waves: electromagnetic, gravitational,
muons… gluons field ….. etc.) – was assembled in a “single point”.
It is interesting to think about what had surrounded the “single point”.
The answer is :
EMPTINESS- NOTHING….!!!
Ok!
But why does everyone speak about EMPTINESS- NOTHING in
common phrases rather than in specific, concrete terms?
I wonder why nobody has written down this EMPTINESS- NOTHING in
the form of a physical formula ? You see, every schoolboy knows that
is possible to express the EMPTINESS- NOTHING condition
by the formula T=0K.
* * *
Once there was a “Big Bang”.
But in what space had the Big Bang taken place
and in what space was the matter of the Big Bang distributed?
Not in T=0K?
It is clear, that there is only EMPTINESS, NOTHING, in T=0K.
Now consider that the Universe, as an absolute frame of reference is
in a condition of T = 2,7K (rests relic radiation of the Big Bang ).
But, the relic radiation is extended and in the future will change and decrease.
What temperature can this radiation reach?
Not T=0K?
Hence, if we go into the past or into the present or into the future,
we can not escape from EMPTINESS- NOTHING T=0K.
Therefore it is necessary to begin to think from T=0K.

If you want to understand evolution you have to read these subjects and digest. This evolution theory is not complete yet. Scientists are keep on adding and clear some of the doubts we have on evolution. If you are a creationists trying to find some excuse for not believing the evolution then you are better of not reading anything at all. For simple minds there is bible. The evolution is for people who have evolved few more level higher than the creationist. Try to evolve then you will understand.

Yes, yes. If I may semi-quote Richard Feynman, a great physicist, "It's not that the universe is weird, it's just that we can't imagine just how weird it is." Something to that effect. There are a lot of books on cosmology. I will recommend a few. I must warn you though, the concepts are very complicated, it helps if you studied astrophysics and quantum physics, and admittedly, it's all just theory.

Just because scientist say its true does not mean it is. Example Spontanious Generation. The thing about the Big Bang is that it will never be ture. It will always remain theory because it can never be tested or seen again.

initially the entire universe was full of gases. i believe that the chemical reactions might have caused everything. it is now proved that dozens of asteroids and comets have hit earth before. life has gradually evolved from smaller beings which would live in any extreme conditions. i would say that the entire thing is because of chemistry.

Actually, there was always something... it was just extremely tiny. The Big Bang isn't the creation of matter: its the spreading of the universe.

Also, matter can be created from energy. :p

Did u know the difference between DISCOVERY & INVENTION? BIG BANG was the theory which is being invented and the universe was disovered. so if u have thing already discovered u can invent some things out of it.
