Mr. Chivalry says, "Temptation should never bring you to making a hard decision. It is usually either do it or don't. If you're talking about temptation, you should know that you either resist or yield. Before you yield, know what the consequences are, and be prepared to face them if you decide to give in."

Mr. Chivalry has spoken.

Temptation is a part of life...we can't totally avoid it. You just have to do the right thing.

Best way is to avoid it. It will be very hard to do depending on how far deep you are involved. If you are too deep to avoid. Ask God to help guide you through and to give you strength to overcome.

I avoid it by not allowing it present?

Ie; I don't get myself in situations were temptation will be present. If it becomes present I leave immediatly, regardless of rudness etc?

I make it clear and constantly allow a precense of "don't try it" by using communication, body language, etc.

You weigh the consequences against the benefits. Is a few moments of pleasure worth a lifetime of guilt? Ask any crack addict which choice they made.
