Watch it and find out. It's a really campy spoof on soap operas in the way there are murders and mysteries and stuff like that - stuff no real neighborhood would have in such concentration. But it's sweet the way the "housewives" (only Gabby is still a real housewife, as Lynette is working, Bree is widowed and Susan is divorced) support each other.
Last season the writers tried to introduce a new family (African-American) but the plots never worked together with the main plots - segregated, so to speak. I hope the show gets its groove back in the third season, as last season was too violent and too fragmented; it works best when the women are together rather than just focusing on Lynette one week and Bree the next and Gabby the episode after.

i appreciate determined housewives. Its relaxing and humorous. cleansing soap operas aren't any further. I end watching the daylight hours soaps about 1990. I had watched them considering intense college which become contained in the 60's. determined Housewives is so a lot extra effective!

About 4 or 5 crazy women with difficult children, husbands, some lovers, etc. it's pretty good

Just a group of friends living in a neighborhood with problems ranging from deaths, to cheating, to kid problems... and everything else. It's funny!
