This question has inspired volumes of medical research dating back to the 19th century. I just learned a little bit about this topic so, here's the answer.

People who are visually impaired from birth appear to lack visual imagery in their dreams. Blind people do dream and often describe their dreams in terms of places and surroundings. An article from the University of Santa Cruz notes that blind dreams feature a "very high percentage of gustatory, olfactory, and tactual sensory references," something very unusual for sighted dreamers to experience.

Here's a great article about it:

My parents have been blind from birth. Blind people dream and have nightmares just like you and I. Dreams are created by the brain not the eye.

Am guessing that they dream the way life really is to them.....or they way they think it might look. I dont know. But u could ask a blind person from birth....cos, it might vary from one blind person to another.

The same thing that sighted people dream about, with the only difference being that there dreams don't involve visual images. Instead, their dreams involve other senses like sound, taste, touch, and smells.

The brain has to keep on working while you sleep so they HAVE to dream something. i guess it would include all the other senses except sight!

What things look like.

I mean think about it. You know how if you feel something, you can sometimes tell what it is without looking at it? So can they, only they are much better at it than us.
