Ron Weasley because he kind of reminds me of me. A loyal best friend who has a bit of a temper and is scared to death of spiders.

It used to be Snape because there had to be much more to him than his grumpy facade and also because he'd been picked on as a boy (I was picked on a girl). But then he killed Dumbledore and I still hope he'll turn out to be good, but Harry Potter has never been wrong about a person's character and Harry loathes Snape so now I'm thinking maybe Snape really is wicked.
I have the biggest crush on Sirius Black, but my favourite character is Harry himself because, like Harry, I basically had no parents. However, his parents were wonderful and mine were not. I always wished I would turn out to have magickal powers, or just be able to be something really spectacular. I never fit in either...

I agree with trishaann79 about Snape. He is the most complex character, and the uncertainty about his allegiance is easily the most intriguing part of the books. I'm not even all that curious about what happens with Harry/Voldemort as I am about what happens with Snape. His character (Snape) is the most fascinating by far.
My favorite character in the movies thus far was Remus Lupin but he was only in the third film.

Harry's my #1 favorite because I feel like I understand him more than the others and through the stories, you really get to know him. Hermione would be #2 because she reminds of myself.

Professor Dumbledore - the actor who appeared in the first two movies was the best- becuse he has a good answer to everything, he doesn't jump to conclusions immediately, he is a great support. To bad he dies in the sixth book. I really cried when I read that.

I think my favorite character is Snape. I realize it's an odd choice, but he's a man trapped by his past and quite a bit more intelligent and more complex than he is seen to be.

My favorite character is Albus Dumbledore becuase he has an amazing ability to stay calm in the face of dire danger and he is the only wizard who Lord Voldemort ever feared. HE'S NOT DEAD!!!! HE'S A PHOENIX!!!! THEY CREAMATED HIM!!!! HE WILL BE REBORN FROM THE ASHES!!!!
