Probably think im nuts, but did anyone else in Upstate NY just feel what felt like a MINOR earthquake?

I didn't feel anything in Rochester, but there is a major fault line in upstate NY, and tremors are not all that uncommon. Wait and see what's in your local newspaper tomorrow.

Well, I'm nowhere near upstate New York. I do know that a small earthquake hit in Wappingers Falls, NY in 1974, so it's possible. Check out the USGS website for recent earthquakes having a magnitude greater than 1.0 Richter.

i did no longer experience a factor. Neither did our top minister and maximum human beings. we are rather over reacting. yet i assume its basically as a results of fact we aren't use to earthquakes. An earthquake with a magnitude over 5.0 take place approximately a pair of times a decade the place this one got here approximately and since the final one replaced into in 1998, we've been kinda over due for one.

No, I am not in that area.. I DID HAVE, however, about a week ago, a dream that said there would be a huge huge huge eruption of some kind in the northern part of the U.S.... that was supposed to be on the 9th.. Well, the 9th has come and gone and nothing happened.. thankfully.
