my boyfriend is trying not to belive that am pergnant, is it cuz he's scared ???? he said the reason why we feel sick is because we just are , and not because am pergnant , but i already took the test , does any one know why hes acting like this???
is this normal 4 a guy 2 go though this in the begining?

It is totally normal. There are plenty of soon- to- b- mothers who are in denial at first. It comes from the whole issue of responsibility and the fact that a baby means instant grow up!!!! Just remember that you need all the support that you can get and need to decide if this is really something that you want to deal with along with everything else that is going on with you due to the pregnancy. Men just usually take more time coming around to the idea.

Yes its normal. I'm pregnant to, i'm 8 weeks, and my boyfriend is so scared he didnt think he can handle this and he wanted me to get an abortion. Men dont have to carry this child they dont know how we really feel about it. They just look at it like the rest of their lives are now all planned out and it really scares them. If you and him both know you are pregnant he does need to stop denying it and he needs to start being supportive of you and your feelings. Putting all else aside, you are important in all of this and you need to keep yourself calm and stressfree for this baby. I'm sure he will come around. Very good luck hun ;)

This reaction is really quite normal. It is part of a grief cycle starting with shock, then denial, then anger, bargaining, depression, testing and then to eventual acceptance. In other words "it is just a phase".

Some do. Fear gets the better of them. Go to the doctor and have a pregnancy test, tell them you are unsure of the first day of your last period and they may do an ultrasound. That way you'll have the proof.

I would say yes, some men fear responsibility and commitment so much that they will unconciously convince themselves that it doesnt exist. I would take him somewhere quiet and show him the results of the test, better yet get him to go to the doctor with you and hear it himself. If he still refuses to accept it, then dump him hun, becuase you cant heal him or change him and he will be no help to you and no father to your child.

Apparently he is in denial you need to schedule an appointment with a ob/gyn and make your bf go with you so the doctor can confirm that your pregnant to him. Congrats and Good Luck!!

It's denial. Obviously he's not ready for the child. Too bad, though. Show him the test. He'll have to come around-it's his responsibility, too.

yes..its very normal i mean my boyfriend was acting the same way he admited l8ter on that he was denial...and ....dont worry he'll come around....my boyfriend went into denial for 3 and a half months...so dont worry...your not alone!:) gOod LuCK!

yeah its normal it happened 2 my friend
hmy friend kept on vomitining and he felt shaky
but ur bf will get over it until u have the baby.
