Well, I think he is actually causing there to be more hatred toward the west. As a figure that represents all America stands for our current president is not exactly motivating our enemies to lay down their weapons. In 15-20 years all of those young survivors in Iraq and lebanon (the lebanese people do blame the US for the war they are having with Israel, not the Israelis or Hezbollah) who lost family members are going to blame the U.S. for their loss and won't think twice about getting revenge any way they can. Of course at that point it won't be Bush's problem any more.

While I felt this way immediatelly after 9/11 Bush has done nothing but squander what was the largest show of international outpouring and compassiion and turned us into one ot he most ridiculed countries in the world. Perhaps he has helped in the short term, but long term the country is far worse off due to his actions.

I agree Kerry is an idiot who would have done a terrible job. But remember this bush was warned about 9-ll before it happened and he did not heed those warnings. As for right now he is wasting our money and our young men in a war in Iraq. Iraq did not bomb us, Afghanistan did. Bush is not stoping terrorist attempts by being in Iraq, he is just getting our country more involved with the middle east, and pissing more people off over there in the process. If any one is being a terrorist it is Bush for treating those people the way he is. Now i am not saying i like Saddam but what he did over there was none of our damn business, and we have no proof of weapons or what they were intended for. Many countries today still have WMD but because they are superpowers like the U.S they feel they don't have to get rid of them. The U.S. A didn't use their weapons responsibly in WWII what makes you think we will now. I don't blame smaller less powerful countries for stock piling weapons, it probably makes them feel safe. And bush by running into whichever country he pleases and attacking without our senates permission is behaving like a totalitarian himself.

Not at all. He tends to stall and he has no idea of what to do during emergency situations. It took him seven minutes to really get upset on 9/11 and let's not forget the Katrina disaster. I think the whole Iraq mess has made terrorists more powerful because they use all of the Iraqi deaths for propaganda to get people to join. Also this was in Britain and Tony Blair is a liberal thank you very much.

Bush didn't have a thing to do with it. He probably didn't know about it until it was all over because he was too busy doing some blow in the back room. And how have you served the country? John Kerry served in VietNam and was a decorated hero. I think its safe to say he knows a thing or two more about how to handle terrorists than does Shrub.

you're only getting your self right into a pissing contest. Time to enable circulate of the gangster mentality. the two events are working as a team to wreck the rustic. Whom ever comes after BHO, will proceed the ball rolling, only like Bush continued Clinton's stride. provide up being a lemming, and attempt to have an unique theory. there is the place the subject is, no person thinks for themselves any greater.

I wasn't much of a Kerry fan, but you do have to remember between Bush and Kerry, Kerry actually fought in a war. Bush was a playboy doing his service in the states.

I just don't buy it that the party that Won WWII doesn't have what it takes to fight. I think the party that took us in to Vietnam and Iraq has made far many more mistakes.

I consider myself more of a moderate, but if I had to choose a label, call me liberal.

How much of the Republican agenda has created the terrosist threats we are seeing today.

Everything is Cause and Effect:

One philosophy is that a more liber view/policy with the world would under cut the support/network these terrorist enjoy today. This is exactly how they achieved their power. This is how Hezbollah, a Iranian milatary force, was able to occupy Lebannon. Hezbollah provided the education, hospitals and food for the Lebenese people. This is exactly how Hitler took control....

Time to learn from History.......

Kerry supported the war, should I find exact quotes to prove that???

9/11 happened on Bush's watch after 8 months in office! The WTC was bombed AND the USS Cole was attacked under CLINTON's watch. Clinton knew these terrorists were out there. Tell me what he did to stop them???????

Actually, one could argue persuasively that the "terrorist attack" that was "prevented" was due to Bush being in office and his failed Middle East policies.

And it was Scotland Yard which stopped this planned "attack," fool.
