"Malcolm," by miles.
"The Wonder Years" was saccharine tripe (and Daniel Stern's narration not only was annoying, it kept Fred Savage from showing a scintilla of talent -- if, indeed, he had any).
"Malcolm" is a brilliantly twisted look at contemporary family dynamics. Jane Kaczmarek is one of the most remarkable actreses in television history (seven Emmy nominations for "Malcolm"), Bryan Cranston is excellent as a flesh-and-blood answer to Homer Simpson, and Chris Masterson brings a real spark to his portrayal of Francis. Add the guest stars (Cloris Leachman, Chris Eigeman, and Betty White, among others) and you've got an excellently cast, intelligently-written comedy for the ages.

Wonder Years. I have never seen Malcolm in the Middle

Wonder years because it is somewhat believable. Malcolm in the Middle is a little too far fetched. It started out kind of cute, but it got boring real quick.

MitM was funny the first few seasons, then it got boring ... Wonder Years was never funny
