What like in a church with a white gown? !!! HELL YES. At the park or court house with a family cookout no. But obviously this is not the "traditional" circumstance so the "traditional" wedding is out. Sorry

Big weddings are waste of money. GO to the court house and get married. You can celebrate after wards and spend 1/3 of the total that you would have on a big wedding and reception. have close family and a few friends at the wedding and then live it up with everyone you know.
As for the having several kids by several guys, who is marrying her? Seriously, how do people put themselves into these kinds of situations. Does she have a job that will allow her to pay for a large wedding? If she has that many kids, (several) then she is either paying a ton in daycare or she doesn't have a job. I say either don't get married, or just do a small wedding. You will be just as happy. trust me i know the big vs. small wedding thing and the small was the best.........

Some will find reasons to snicker, but true friends will understand & be supportive. If she wants the big wedding, have it! Let the nay-sayers laugh, it is really none of their business. She should go for it, but make some realistic concessions - like maybe skip the white dress & wear something nice & formal intstead, but with color to it. No dress down/everday wear - respect the meaning of the ceremony in this way.

I don't know about embarrassing, but it will incite alot of different emotions.
As I'm sure this woman would love to have a big wedding, she's kinda cinched that by her previous actions.
What would be more tasteful would be to have a smaller, intimate ceremony. Then have a bash of a reception. Invite anyone she wants to a really big party.

No. It's not embarrassing only if she let the opinions of others influence her decisions.
Whatever way this woman chose to live her life she only has herself to blame for it and she shouldn't have to feel embarrass if she choose to have a big wedding.
If she is getting married, I would hope and pray that its someone who accepts her and the several kids unconditionally.

Yes, that is really inappropriate for her to do that. She should just have something small, not even a white dress. White is a virginal color ment for purity, she doesn't have that. Very tacky if she does and people will talk about it forever! I remember a lady I worked with did that for her second marriage and every one talked about how tacky it was for YEARS. She really should not even wear a fancy dress.

if it would be embarrassing...even to debate whether or not it might be......then it's a pretty strong sign that you shouldn't get married at all....
