Depends on the subject.

Everyone, on an almost daily basis deliver "pearls" of wisdom without knowing it. The recipient usually rejects it as "piffle" "rubbish" or "crap"

This is a world wide problem especially among or various leaders,, who need to learn to "pick the fly crap out of the pepper"
