How wil the Kansas State Wildcats fair in their football and basketball programs in 2006?

I am a K-State fan, and I am excited about the new coaches that have been hired for the football and basketball programs at KSU. How do you think the programs will fair this season with Ron Prince as the head coach for football and Bob Huggins as the head coach for basketball? Give me your opinion about this whether it is positive, negative, or indifferent.

baketball will make he tournament, football is always competitive. Bob Huggins is the man, toy will love him, trust me, as a UC fan, you guys will compete every year in the tournament if they let him get the guys he wants in there.

K-States football program i believe is going to be the laughing stock of the big 12. They had there chances and blew it. This year Nebraska will win the big 12. Football program is 4-5 years away.

IN basketball, i like huggins as a coach but i still believe the talent isn't there for a NCAA tournament run. Basketball program is two years away.

Well, in football, K-State's non-conference schedule is the typical joke, with the exception of the woodshed beating they're going to take at the hands of Louisville. They get to avoid OU, aTm, and Texas Tech in conference, and have a favorable schedule in terms of home and away (home vs. OSU, NU, ISU, and UT, while going to CU, MU, KU, and Baylor). I'm thinking right about .500 for them, with the outside shot of a bowl.

As for basketball, K-State's been so bad for so long Huggins won't turn it around in a year. NIT at best, and that's probably a stretch.

WELL IM A KU FAN. SINCE BOTH OF THEM WERE BIG 8 FOOTBALL DOORMATS BACK THEN.I THINK KU CAN BEAT K STATE.I HOPE KU CAN HAVE A GOOD SEASON THAN K STATE.NEW COACHES IN BIG 12 MENS BB SHOULD BE INTRESTING.GO JAYHAWKS.
