I don't believe there is any higher power then prayer. remember God doesn't give u more then u can handle and u are stronger for your experiences. Worry doesn't solve anything. Find solutions and if u have too ask for help!

I ask myself if it is something I can control, change or solve and if it my place to do so. After that, let go and let God is about all you can do. Sometimes you just have to try and distract yourself too. I take walks, read, play a board game or a few hands of cards with my friends/family. If it's something really big I'll tackle a project I've been putting off... cleaning out the garage or basement or painting a room a different color. *L* Do whatever works for you. Good luck. God bless.

First, talking to god does not solve problems by itself. When I worry, I ask myself is there anything I can do to better the situation. If I've done everything I can do, then I come to the realization that the situation is now out of my hands.
If there is a situation that you can do nothing about, why worry? If you can do something about it, why are you wasting time worrying instead of focusing on how to change the situation?

Ensuring as far as possible not to have reasons for worry.
You need to be more specific. Are you worried you will lose your job? Make sure you are always employable.
Are you worried about your finances? Treat money with respect.
Your relationship? That's a tricky one though. The only way to keep a relationship going is to be very loving.
Worried about your health? Find out what is good and bad for you. I find Macrobiotics very helpful.
Good luck.

What helps me is to KNOW FEAR. When you worry about something that means you are afraid so it's fear management that is needed. We all experience F.E.A.R daily, ie: you look before you cross the street because you are afraid to be hit by a car, etc.. So F.E.A.R is False Evidence Appearing Real, or False Expectations Appearing Real or Failure Expected Action Required. You are projecting negatively into the future.
Example: If you think your boss wants to give you a raise then you are banging on his/her door right? Now if you think he/she will laugh at you then you are not motivated. I hope this helps you to calm down, as it has helped me tremendously. I ask myself what I am afraid of or what's my fear of that particular fear etc..again I hope this helps you out.

Prayer, yes prayer and speaking with God.
Another thing is to ask yourself.. is there anything I can immediately do to improve the situation? If the answer is no, then you are left with worry. Let it go, and trust God. It is okay to be concerned, but when concern turns to worry that can wreck havoc on your mind body and soul.

Try to relax, do something you like; something that would make you smile.
For example, Ilove dancing, or a buble bath, go for a walk on the lake so your mind will concentrate on the beauty of the place.
Another good thing is to do Thi Chi Chuan.

Prayer is definitely my first choice when I am worried. It helps calm me down. I like to find a quiet place to get everything in order.

Well, exercise is good. So is cleaning house with music in the background. Worrying will not change anything. Try visiting a neightbor and talk about what is worrying you.
