This is not 100%, but Female sperm do better in warmer temps and male survive best in lower temps. It only varies by a couple degrees though. If you want to have a boy, have your man wear boxers or go commando, take colder baths and showers just basically try to keep the testicals from getting hot.
I found this out because I asked my bio teacher. My mom and five was using the contraceptive foam that gets hot and kills the sperm, She had a girl, and then she met a lot of other women who had the same thing happen with the same result.

Male sperm are faster then female sperm so having sex within 24 hours of ovulation will increase the chance that you'll have a boy. You would need to abstain for a few days before ovulation though. There is no 100% sure way to do this, but it will increase your chances.

Heard from Chinese that to try conceive a baby boy the mother should make her body "alkaline" by eating more vegetables, potatoes, bean sprouts, bread, noodles, etc (to avoid lacking in protein, mother can drink milk). While the father must eat more sourish food like tomato sauce, spinach to make his body "acidic"

Thats what I am attempting. For a boy this time.
Male sperm travel slower, but live longer. And female sperm die quicker but are faster.
So, you have to time it just right around your ovulation.
You basically want sperm waiting around before you ovulate, so that the female's die off first and the males are just sitting around waiting for the egg.

you need to drink a glass of prune juice mixed with one egg and 3 tbsp of flour 10mins before, have sex in the bathroom standing on ur head. then when hes done have him carry you upside down to the bed and hang your head over the edge for 17mins...... that should do the trick !!
