Well, Americans don't hang people any more but, done properly, hanging is humane and is practiced in some other countries. It is unlikely that the terrorists would be tried for treason, but they can and should be tried for crimes against humanity, and should be hanged or executed by some other humane means if they are found guilty of a capital offense in a court of law, because (at least in my opinion) they are beyond rehabilitation and will always try to kill again.

You said the key phrase "if they are guilty".
And in the US, determining if they are guilty requires the government to follow the constraints set forth in the Constitution: grand jury indictment, public speedy trial, access to counsel, confrontation of witnesses (no hearsay), etc.
These requirements (5th and 6th Amendment) are set forth against government action. They are not so much rights granted to individuals are limitations on government overreaching. And they create the presumption that everyone is innocent until PROVEN guilty.
I have no problem with terrorism being declared a capitol crime. BTW, It's not treason, because that term is defined by the constitution and most terrorist actions don't fit the constitutional definition. However, that doesn't stop us from creating a crime called terrorism, which has been on the books for a while now. So, let's charge them, try them, and convict them if they are guilty, of terrorism.
But our government need to follow it's own laws when doing so, or we're no better than any other despot who ignores the laws when it suits him. We're a nation of laws, and we need to follow them, including the constitutional requirements for handing out justice.

Absolutely not. We're all humans, we all have basic rights.
The fact that America has locked away people in Guantanamo Bay for more than 3 years WITHOUT TRIAL is the terrible thing at the moment. how would you like it if you were accused of a crime, locked away and never given a chance to defend yourself? You'd want some human rights then!

Yes, we should not have to abide by any human rights when we are holding a terrosists. I think we should allow them due process and food and shelter but beating them and using interigation techniques to gather information is justified! A lot of people don't realize that terroists do wrong to guards, there are thousands of repots of them throwing collections of urine, and ill let you use your amagination of the rest.

This is the same argument used by Hitler during the 1940's!!
and he became the terrorist. This is NOT about racial or religious intolerance but state interference in religious issues.
The problem is not one rave or religion but extremism in any form within any organisation 99.9% of Muslims like 99.9% of any other faith are peace loving it is the 0.1% who must be searched out not a witch-hunt on the innocent. besides who says your terroirst cant be tall blond fair and female!!
better inteligence rather than persecution is what is needed.
if you ever had family lost during the Nazi Murder camps you would truly understand! (and it was not just the Jews they killed)

Sure they should have their human rights taken away. That way, it'll be easier to take them away from everyone else.
