If you're talking about Puff Daddy's group, he stole the name from a burlesque show group, just like he steal other people's music.

The Pussycat Dolls are an American female pop/R&B singing group. The Dolls began as a burlesque dance troupe (not strippers) based in Los Angeles, and expanded to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The group, which was founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995, released its first single in 2005.

Kind of. They were in a "burlesque show" when they were discovered. I think they still do something to that effect at their concerts; celebrities have been known to join in on it too, like Denise Richards.

a lot different from your avg stripper pole dancer - & no offense to strippers - they have to put up with lots of crap from gross men
