See, I just got it and I'm going into seventh grade, and since L.L.Bean bookbags last a long time, I'll probably have it till I graduate from highschool, that is totally dorky isn't it? And I am really careful with my bookbags and so I'll probably have it till I graduate from college! Help me! I can probably stand using it till the end of 8th grade, but not in high school, I mean, it's pink!

Pink is totally in and I'm in college and everyone has pink bags and purses. The thing about high school and middle school is that my school banned the use of bookbages during school, we could only use them to go to and from school because kids would put too many books in them and never stop at their lockers and so everyone was getting back problems. The school also banned rolling bookbags because there was not enough room in the halls and they tripped people. SO long story short, if you are embaressed with your bookbag you can just keep it in your locker and carry your books to class. Then you can have a stylish purse that you can carry around with your pens and pencils and other personal products.

Cool kids don't use rolling backpacks. To be honest with you, I don't think I ever seen a girl wear a backpack in high school (except the really smart ones). Plus, won't you have a locker to use?

Pink is the best color dont down play it. You will be fine and I am sure need a new bookbag way before highschool.

well i dont see a problem with it, but most kids in Middle School are really mean so id say get a new one to avoid being made fun of. But if you think you can take it then go ahead.

heck im goin into 8th grade, and im still usin a bookbag, and my sister whos a junior uses bookbags like that. I think you SHOULD keep usin it as long as it lasts

There are some gentle lower back packs. you need to be waiting to hold them your self, sure. there grow to be a danger those must be cool, yet then, regrettably, all the dorks offered them and now they are dorky. Sorry, love.

kids are cruel and you are bound to be teased. I would get a normal backpack just to avoid the rude comments. Jr high I remember was the hardest.. Good luck

You should have gotten a Swiss surplus rucksack. Cooler looking and will outlast any commercial bag.

pink is a great color. but rolling bags are not cool in school. in fact, theyre disastrous! (sp?) neways, just get a regular backpack!
