Yes, hugs are the best. It feels like you are releasing some of the stress. I know that nothing may be different after a hug, but you just know that someone cares and is there if you need someone.

of course. i'm a big believer in the hug! it's all about touch hunger. i learned in massage therapy school that everyone has a certain amount of touch they require to feel comfortable in their own skin. (which explains why some people hate being touched in any way, and some people love it) it's good for both people, so keep on huggin'! (cyber hug!)

Two people came up to me and gave me hugs today. Two of my supervisors. Apparently it is "Staff Appreciation Week". Truth be known, it kinda creeped me out.
(Now if *you* were to come up and give me a hug.....i think my reaction would be a lot more positive.)
