I like the dryer because when you line dry the clothes are more wrinkled and i hate wrinkles. I have to iron so the less time i spend on ironing the better.

I love the smell of line dried clothes, too and there is a real money savings involved in line drying your clothes. Unfortunately, line dried clothes most often need to be ironed and they dry without the soft feel of clothes dried in a dryer. As much as I love the smell, time constraints make line drying a thing I only rarely have time for.

I just moved into a house a few months ago with a clothes line in the backyard. I was going to tear it down when I remembered little things like it takes towels over an hour to dry using a dryer, sheets and comforters dry faster on the line, and my electric bill runs over $120 a month. It may seem hillbilly but I use it, just not for my regular clothes too much.

I love sheets & towels dried on the lines - they are so crisp & fresh smelling that way!! A lot of people live in places that have those society rules that won't let you have a clothes-line & condos & stuff don't have enough room. We used to have one but my uncle took it down years ago - never did say why, he just did it. So I miss not being able to dry my things on the line when the sun is shining! That was always one of my chores, from the time I was tall enough to reach, to go get the clothes in off the line & fold them for my mom!

I like my underwear in the dryer, but sheets, towels, jeans outside, but then i still run them in the dryer to fluff them up and get any bugs or dust off.
