Yes I did. My wife was extremely upset and it took a couple of years to get back to normal. When she was finally ready to talk about it, I made a compromise with her. She kept saying..."what if I did it, how would you feel?" I had a sense that she was thinking of doing it to get even, so eventually we talked about it and I let her do it too. marks3kids at yahoo

Can you blame her? It all takes time, and that is all there is to do. Give her time to digest it all, get over the hurt and the anger.

Then once she has settled down, don't pressure her to talk, but ask her to talk. Then YOU have to be open and honest about why you did what you did and why she should believe that you wouldn't do it again.

If you want to do it right away.......write a letter...........that she can read and tear up or save, whichever she chooses to do, cause if she isn't ready to talk........thats the best option I can think of.
