I am a 13 year old boy. Sorry if I sound like a girl a little, my voice hasn't fully matured. I will sing A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Calson. I won't sound very good because I have only been practicing scales and pitch for 12 days. Sorry if I paused, I had a slight cold and wasn't breathing correctly. My nose was a little stuffed up. What should I work on?

I think that's pretty good for someone with only 12 days training. Keep at it and you might be great some day.

You've got a lot of work to do but you're 13 so you've got time. You 2 biggest issues are 1. Pitch - you were very flat throughout most of the song and 2. Nasal tonality - you sing through your nose. The nasal tone is going to be hard to fix by yourself because you probably can't hear that you're doing it. When you sing, feel where the sound resonates in your head, you will probably feel it in your sinus area. Then try to make that feeling move down into the middle of your mouth (not the back of your throat or up by your teeth). If you're serious about becoming a better singer, ask your parents if you can voice lessons, often times a group lesson is very affordable. If you keep going without professional help (and I honestly don't mean this to be rude) you will probably end up like those kids on American Idol that Simon is really mean to in the auditions. Good luck!

Considering that you only practicing for 12 days, you're good. You have to work more though. please if you have a cold, or sore throat then don't sing, it's NOT good for you voice. I would choose another song, one sung by a man......women's song have higher notes sometimes, so it maybe be harder for boys.

Oh and do check with a doctor about singing coz since you're 13 your voice is in a phrase where it's changing (you're getting mature) ...so be sure you can sing safely first.

keep practicing......... practising makes perfect.
Good luck

hmm..
you got too carried away at the 'making my way, through the crowd' line.
i don't like how you.. what's the word? tremble your voice there.
also, the 'I, I, drown in your memory' part should be improved.
of course, because youv'e been practicing only 4 12days, i 'll try not to criticize you..
but here's a tip. you should probably practice whenever you have time or just relaxing.
I am also practicing my favorite punk rock songs, (only for fun) but since i don't have a lot of time, i sing in the shower.(moo-ha-ha)
also, good choice of song.
i liked it since i was in the third grade, and still love it.
