Find a interviewing book that lists the twenty most commonly asked questions. Go through each of the questions and write out an answer. Give it a few days, think about it and edit it a few times. You will see variations of those questions in nearly any interview. You will see, tell me about your three best attributes...don't first consider the question when it is asked. Anticipate the hard questions that an employer might ask. (put yourself in their shoes) Why did you drop out of college? What were you doing for those six months between jobs? Write out questions that you want to know about your employer, the job they are offerring, etc that you truely want to know before you accept the job. Do people fail at this job? Why do they? Describe the corporate culture. Etc, etc. Dress conservatively (unless it is a creative field) and a little more formally than you would expect to show up for work daily. Make sure your clothes fit well - not too big or small. Spend some time with an upscale department store sales person if you are uncertain about you own ability to put together a well-fitting outfit. If your employer does not notice your clothing, it is much better than them thinking poorly of you. Get plenty of rest, make sure you are not rushed, map out the location, know where you are supposed to go. Reherse some of the points you wrote out above. Think of five things I really want them to know about me before I leave this interview today. Finally loosen up. Try to relax and have fun with the interview. Imagine this is a friend of a friend with whom you have a sincere interest in getting to know. With all of the preparation above, you'll do great. Good luck.

Sounds like you've got both the experience and talent for the position... and being a good salesperson truly is a "talent". Make your entrance with a smile on your face, turn on your best phone voice and be confident about your skills. Reign in any nervous habits like fluttering hands and twitching feet and maintain eye contact.
I have some nearly obsessive compulsive rituals that I carry out before an interview. I once had a major clothing malfunction right before an interview, so now I over-prepare. A back up ensemble, alternate shoes and at least three new pairs of pantyhose. I also decide how I'm going to do my make up and hair.
Good luck! Hope you get the job and enjoy your new position.

The most imprtant thing in an inteview is to be very confident.
Make sure that:
1) Your hand shake is firm
2) look at the person in the eyes when talking
3) let the person talk without interruption but make sure that you ask you own questions about the job and the company. This will show them that you mean business
4) They will ask you about what you did and how you've handled some of the situations. Make sure that you give specific answeres and always be sure of yourself.
5) They might ask you one thing that you would change about yourself. Be prepared.
6) They might ask you one good quality about your self. Also be prepared.
7) It is important to know how you can sell yourself without going overboard. Other then that, try to be natural and you should not have a problem.
Good Luck!

try to think of questions they might ask and have answers prepared for them and once asked a question wait a couple of seconds before responding, like your thinking of the answer right there. Always take the opportunity to give positive examples of how you handled situations in the past if the question warrants it. At the very end of the interview take the oppotunity to thank them for the interview and say something like- " I know I can do a really good job for you as all my experience has me well prepared for this job ". Anything to that affect but the key is leaving them on a 'high' note so they will remember you as being outgoing and positive. GOOD LUCK

Know a little about them...and have questions ready for them, not about vacation policies or dress code, but about what they do.
Many interviewers like to ask situational questions...
Tell me about a situation when you pleased a customer...
Tell me about a situation when a customer was angry...
Tell me about a situation when you disagreed with a staff member...
Have answers in your arsenal for stuff like that, and spin the negative into positive outcomes...pick situations that make you look good.
Also, have the "what is something negative people might say about you..." be a win win for them. "I get too focused or intense on projects" "I have too many customers that just want to deal with me."
You are selling you, it is no time to be humble. BUt don't come off egomaniacal--there is a balance.

if you think you're prepared and right for the job then I think you know what to say. Double check records. You may have forgotten things that happened that you dis/liked. Be prepared for questions like: What kind of worker do you consider yourself to be? You don't want to answer "a good one". Answer individually. Be creative!!! They will do that asking (job interview!) they know you are nervous, it's natural!

It sounds like you are well qualified - you have dealt with people in the past extensively - so what are you worried about? Remember you have the experience.....answer questions thoroughly and honestly, taking time to think about your answers - be yourself - your experience will speak for itself. Good luck!
