Can you help with high heels for pageants?

I am only 5'2'' . How can I look taller? What kind of shoes do I need to wear?

What sort of pageant? You may need to wear lifts in your shoes - otherwise go with no less than a 4 inch heel make sure it's something that flatters your leg.....especially for the swimsuit portion but also make sur ethat they're not too flashy (no sparkles, spangles or applique - keep it simple) so as to draw the eye to them. You want the judges looking at you and not the shoes. Good luck.

There are many things you can do. Pile your hair on top of your head, stand up straight, wear dresses with vertical lines this doesn't mean stripes, V-Necks, clothing that is fitted as loose bulky clothes make you look shorter, slim pants or jeans, skirts above the knee as calf length shortens the leg, and vertical striped clothing like pinstripes.
For a pageant gown look for princess cut or sheath, avoid ballgowns or anything else with a defined waistline. One long line from top to bottom (this is what I mean by vertical lines) instead of a dress that looks like a top and bottom. Monochromatic, not multi-colored. Look for a narrower skirt, not a full. V-Necks, jewels (it comes up around the neck in a band), and halters also draw the eye up, where a strapless or off the shoulder draws it out making you look shorter.
As for heels, the higher the taller you look. I wouldn't recommend platforms for a pageant. Get a height that you are comfortable in, don't try 4"-5" heels if you aren't used to walking in them. Maybe a 3" so that you can walk easier and glide across the stage, not stumble. Looking elegant is more important than height.
