Please help me prepare...lol. What might they ask? This is for when people call the toll-free number to get service (cable or hight speed internet) hooked up and they get a representative.

I have 5 years telephone banking experience where people called toll-free number to get account bal. checks cleared etc. and/or if they needed a bank rep. they got me. I was very good at this job and the last two years in this position I cross sold bank products and was VERY successful at this. I was top seller in small business department 8 out of last 12 months (I took blend of consumer and small business callers). I remember saying I finally found something I was good at and that was SELLING. I really want this job with Cox Communications.

Can you help me with this interview?

You will do fine, just be yourself, if you have had banking experience, that is a big plus, and you sound like the perfect
candidate.
Good Luck!

Okay--

1. Relax, it sounds like you are more than qualified for this position.

2. Research the snot out of cox. Every bit.

3. Form some really good questions to ask based on your research. Ones that will make your interviewer think "hmmm, this girl is on the ball. Not afraid of anything."

4. Run down to barnes and noble or your library and pick up Geoffry Gitomore's book: The Sales Bible. Look it over. Good info on sales and marketing there.

5. Be yourself, relax, and have fun with it. It's just an interview...not stomach cancer.

Good luck.

I hope it goes well, but if you REALLY wanted this job you probably should have thought about preparing before you were down to the final hour before the interview.

If they ask you to say one negative thing about yourself, always say "I have a tendency to take on to much at one time", no wrong answer there.............
