Every time you do whatever it is, visualize you're doing it in front of a well respected person, e.g. priest, teacher, parent, boss. Then think about what their reaction might be. Maybe if you can re-associate the good feeling of doing what you do with an uncomfortable or a bad feeling, you may not want to keep doing it. Good luck!!!!

If you are talking about drugs or alcohol you need to get help. If you are talking about breaking a bad habit, just stop doing it! If you feel you need to do it, go do something else.
