Well actually it all depends on how it is and how rough. i can understand that it can damage the tissue, but nevertheless, it will never cause the same effect as actual intercourse. if you are in pain, or if it was uncomfortable or if there is some bleeding, maybe it did affect the virginity, but very unlikely to have full 100% effect. There can be some tissue tearing.
