I know what you mean, its scary thinking about trying it again. If you don't want to get married at this time, tell him you need more time, tell him the troth it always works if he really loves you and wants to marry you to build a lasting relationship and really wants it to be forever. If we can't feel and trust that your lover wants you for you for ever then we don't need to get married.you can't start out unsure of the relationship,I know! I don't think i could get married again,I'm not wanting to date yet.I don't think i could give 100% not knowing if it would last.I just can't trust that there may be someone who wants a lasting relationship..I wish you luck and will be praying for you to make the right decision..

Of course you are afraid. Healing takes time, and you're not going to be able to commit to anyone new until you're completely over it (not your ex). Give this another year...If this guy is really interested in you, not just in getting married, he will understand and know that you're worth the wait. Listen to your inner voice...it will tell you when you're no longer scared, but sure.
Good luck!

Tell him your not ready for marriage and you want to take it slow. If he can understand that then he is a keeper and you know he will respect you always, but if he walks away then you know you did the right thing. Maybe live together and see how that works out.

Take your time. No reason to rush into things and you really haven't been seeing him that long. Remeber, the first year of dating is always good. Its only in the second+ years that you REALLY learn that person. If he truly loves you, he'll wait until your doubt are gone.

Simply tell him you're not ready for marriage. If he doesn't understand that, then he's really not that great -of -a -guy.
