Wouldn't it be great to be able to travel here and there and see peace in the air. That would mean, of course, that ALL GREED would have been elliminated.... and this alone makes it (PEACE) absolutely impossible. Greed and religious beliefs prohibit peace in any manner or form.... We can still dream, however, of a world with peace

Great idea! Diplomatic solutions usually fail, though.
Since Muslims, Jews and Christians have messianic beliefs, maybe praying for the messiah to come and bring lasting peace before the world destroys itself would be a win-win-win solution

I agree, but on the other hand how about justice, can you have justice without some form of war or protest, what about all the downtrodden people everyone just likes to forget about, I am also totally against violence most especially against innocent people but I also feel for the people who the world seems to forget and feel sometimes they need someone to stand up for them, and to stand up for them is not peace, so it is quite a question.

Easy to say, but hard to accomplish. Ironic that rock stars who sing these idealistic lyrics live like kings while millions languish in poverty around the world.
IMAGINE the hypocricy, but I guess Lenon got his.

I agree with you whole-heartedly, but unfortunately that will never happen. There are too many differences in this world and everyone is too wrapped up in themselves to accept anyone else.
