If their mouses have as many errors as their software...

SERIOUSLY -- The mouse included with my computer was a 'ball' mouse, and it only lasted for about a year. It all of a sudden broke for no apparent reason. Since mouses are cheap, it was not such a big deal. I have, however, heard that Microsoft does not make as good supplies, they work and are good on average, but compared to excelling companies, they are not as good.
Instead, I like using Logitech, they last longer and have higher quality than most others. I have not tried many other brands, but most no-name brands break easily. But the main thing to focus on when buying a mouse is to see that it is comfortable and fits you. It would be better to switch a well-fitting mouse every two years or so than to have an uncomfortable mouse for a longer period of time.

Best Regards,
Andreas Renberg

I use their trackball optical and I have used it for 3 years now and it never broke down. I dont like their mouseball mouse or their laser mouse. Their wireless mouse sucks too because it broke after only a few months of using them.

You cant really go wrong with an optical trackball, but the one from microsoft is only $20 and it lasts a long time so its really your choice.

I know many who prefer Logitech, but to each their own.

I have had two of their optical mouses and I love them. The wireless is good too.
