I am tired of political correctness, I think it is just a bunch of BS. If a person was brought up decently, they do not need to worry about it.

But, I do want to know who decided that it was my (or your ) responsibility to make everyone else feel better about themselves.

I would also like to know why in comedy is it ok for Chris Rock and Carlos Mencia to make fun of all races, but if a white comedian does it, that is EACISM.

EVERYBODY JUST NEEDS TO STEP BACK AND GET A LIFE AND GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

To some extent political correctness is necessary, a bit of a necessary evil. But sometimes it does make you feel like you have to tip toe around everyone so to offend them. Please don't feel like you're the only one overwhelmed by this. It's quite unfair to certain minorities and even to those who are are protected by the politically correctness. Everyone is being over protected and in a way crippled. Just be yourself, and don't catch yourself. If you say it, you say it and don't apologize for it. If you do it lets people know you're feeling guilty and fake. If they're your friends, they'll understand. If they're not, don't worry about them.

Political correctness is a facetious substitute for respecting people, their values and ways.

So, yes, it is too much trouble keeping one or two trivialities about different cultures in mind so as to not insult them totally.. Why not learn enough about different peoples so that you can intuitively say and do the right thing instead of playing a surface-level game?

Makes sense to me!

Political correctness is a bunch of garbage. I am not responsible for how someone else feels.

I'm concerned with God correctness--not, at all, concerned with political correctness.

What is politically correct at one place at one time is politically incorrect at another place, another time.

How simple it is to have only One to please; while man complicates by trying to please many.

God is simple--man complicates.

I think it MAKES us concider what we are saying, or what we are about to say... which we need to be doing.
