continuing saga with wife? Part I?

Question

i was given a cell phone at work and came home with it and my wife was upset because she felt it was another way for my work (which is very unobstrusive so far) to keep a tie to me.

She's been very jeolous of the job and has come to my office to go through my desk and papers because a lady stopped her one day shopping and said she had visited me in my office several times. It was a high school friend of my wifes and although it was a business meeting, my wife was very upset over that. This situation has caused the jeolosy.

back to the phone. the phone had belonged to another worker and last evening a lady sent a text message to the phone and it sounded kind of provocative. my wife hit the roof. she kept the phone with her and said she was going to call this woman and find out if she knew me.

while my wife had the phone with her my boss called and some other women called the phone.

she wants me to give it back and say i can't use the phone.

what should i or can i do.

Why does your wife not trust you? She obviously has issues and is the aggressive one in the relationship. Tell her to call your boss and tell him you can't have the phone and see how far that gets her.....

You do what u can to satisfy her with out jepordizing your job, perhaps get ur own cell phone for work purposes.. unfortunately i can see why your wife is getting so upset.. it does sound like a bunch of excuses rather then the truth, and i think any man or woman in her shoes would be leary of all this as well to the point of jealousy.. If u love your wife, and u want her to be happy, go get a new cell phone, one that is only yours.. so theres no more mistaken identity.. and i suggest u start talking to ur wife more about whats going on at the job, it helps a jealous wife to be in the Know, and less suspicious, if ur talking about what u did at work, who u saw if its someone she knows instead of her having to find out herself.. and call her when u can during the day, at lunch ect.. till she starts feeling more secure in your relationship, if u prove to her that u can be trusted she will come around..

Tell your wife to grow-up...If you're going to cheat there is very little she can do about it. She sound like she's insure of your relationship. Is there any reason why? You may try to explain that without the phone you will have to go to work,to check-in. That would take time away from time you could spend with her.

Get some counciling. Holy crap your wife is insecure. Have you given her reason to be insecure?
