in most food serivce jobs hair must be tied back or contained. Most fast food places require employees to wear hats to comply with this... it is a more stylist alternative to wearing a hair net.

Most places it's the law. If you work with food your hair needs to be contained like in a hat or pulled back, or in a hair net. Obvioulsy most people just pick to put a hat on. It's a health code issue.

You have to keep your hair tied back. Some of the workers at Taco Bell here in MI do not wear hats or hair nets. They just wear their hair in a bun or ponytail. They cannot work in the food Preparation area without a hair covering.

NO! wat the hell...? i went to michigan and when i stopped in mcdonalds they ddidn't ask 4 me to put on no hat.
