This is the kind of question that can get investors into a lot of trouble. To try to predict performance in the next couple of days seems like a waste of time and effort to me. So many things can effect this. Why not lengthen your time frame to 3 months or more? There so have a better chance of being correct. Or why not wait until sentiment figures become very negative and take the other side?

I think everyone's going to be really negative for the next couple days and drive the cyclical stocks down some more and the defensive stocks up. I think this is stupid. In a month or less everyone is going to kick themselves in the *** for selling down stocks which are making tons of money like CAT. What the hell is going on? ugh..... Recession my ***, please, their's more to this market then housing and interest rates people! Listen to the assumption that people are deriving from housing figures and interests rates and oil prices and it sounds a lot like negative speculation.

the market can touch 11200 or 11500.....but start booking profits on the stocks u have ,i think it will slide once more,,may be till 10500 or 10000,the action is in the midcap stock so if u want to buy some get into sugar or textile for short term play,,,,,avoid frontline stocks

which stock market are you referring to? Stock market are directed by market forces.. no one can predict how the stock market will be... instead of buying and selling, which incur brokerage charges, its a better idea to buy blue chips for long term investments and receive dividends on a yearly basis..
