I think its funny that Cincinnati is the joke of the league for year when they were bad, then now that they are one of the elite teams in the league, they are still the bud of everyone's jokes with the 5 players arrested in the offseason, which other than Chris Henry, were pretty small charges. Does anyone else see this happening but me?

I mean you can't name too many teams with recievers like Chad Johnson, T.J. Housemensada, and running backs like Jerimiah Johnson at fullback, and Rudi Johnson and Chris Perry, and not to mention one of the top 3 quarterbacks in Carson Palmer. Also a top 10 defense easily. And a head coach like Marvin Lewis. Give them some credit here sports media.

DesignR, i could shut down a wide-out in the playoffs if Jon Kitna were throwing to them, but the way, how far way the only pass attempt completey that Palmer got off in that playoff game before the clumsy overweight lineman fell into him? Wish Carson could learn to hand the ball off every play like Big Ben, then maybe he could be a superstar too, or the most overrated Quarterback in the league, oops, did i say that?

If five guys get arrested on a team of 100, why does it reflect on the whole locker room? And you are saying you wouldnt allow your kid to go watch a guy who got cited for falling a sobrity test while driving his boat? I sure wish i could live up to those morals

Not so much the media as the police. Hey, they brought it on themselves. No question they got some horses, but it's too bad they play the Steelers twice a year. If their entire game plan revolves around Palmer, they better get ready for some more bad times. As we all know, quarterbacks do get hurt & what you do without your #1 says alot about your team The Bungles are dead without Palmer.

If the Bengals don't like the negative press, here is a good sound advice: Obey the Law! Stay out of trouble. Be good citizens. Set good examples since you are all highly paid players in the NFL. If you stay clear of law enforcement, the media won't have a reason to pick on you. At least as long as you are winning games.

Just because you had one good season finally after 15 years of losing your a$ses off doesn't give you a free pass to become football's equivalant of the Portland Trailblazers.

I don't think that the media is joking on the Bengals. They are giving them trouble because the players can't stay out of trouble. They talk all the time about a chance to go to the playoffs and having a chance to win the Super Bowl

I see the sports media reporting exactly what is happening. If you see it differently thats on you. Want to be in the national spotlight from Aug-Feb then you need to keep your nose clean for the rest of the year cause it will leak out that your in trouble.

I think its the opposite. The media hates, just absolutely hates the Raiders, and of course, now the Cowboys too!

They still cant get past the Steelers. Housch and Chad were shut down in each game. They bring the attention on themselves.

Well give them credit, they will be one of the best teams in the league and ff leagues are loving it. Their players have to stay healthy though.

Two mouthy receivers and a soft quarterback don't make them an elite team. However five criminals will get you attention. Attention you don't want.

the Bengals suck they hire thugs with talent, who wants to bring their kids to see these players who beat up women, rob houses, and have alcohol issues. Kids look up to these stars and to have lowly franchise like the Bengals and have so many problems you cant blame the media for doing there job but you can blame the Bengals for not doing theirs
