Just like the politicians in this country want the voters to be ignorant, the rulers in the arab nations want the same for their people. For instance, 2 out of 3 students in Saudi Arabia are engaged only in religious studies. What type of society and government do you think we would have in the united states if 2 out of 3 students studied only at Sunday school?
Guys like Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and Ralph Reed would be the Imam's of America. While they were raking off the money from arms sales, I don't think our society would advance very much.

I agree with you 100%,
I mean a stranger from South America had better standing thatn the Arab World.
They don't even have a voice, All Arabs are happy that Lebanon is again in war so that they will develop their countries for tourists and trade etc..
Who is the first winner by Lebanon goes back to war?? Be sure only the Arab countries.

FYI before being bombed to smitherines in 1982 and prior to it's civil war Lebanon was the gem of the Middle East....Beirut was it's Paris
can you call Israel a democracy after commiting war crimes agains Lebanon and Palestine

They will not be able to unless they quit listening to religious leaders whose only goal is to pretend they speak for God so they can gain wealth and power over the illiterate masses. Remember the witch hunts the Catholic church used to confiscate land and gold. Blind obedience is the bane of the Muslim religion. We don't have to kill them or their kids they'll strap on bombs and have them kill their selves. What a religion.

They can't right now - they are too busy blaming the US, Brits, and Isreal for their problems. It's amazing, some Countries like Jordan, Saudi Arabi, UAE, all seem to do well and violence towards others is very small. Then you have others who simply are fantatics who want to kill others for their misery.
