Everyone, at every age, has a different set of experiences and different levels of understanding on Any given topic!

The key to making good decisions in life is learning early how to get good information... Not only how to word your questions, but being able to recognize who is best qualified to answer with accurate information. Both of the people you mentioned would be ideal sources, but for entirely different questions!

Both will have valid (and invalid) perspectives on life based on their own experiences. I traveled a lot by the time I was 20, but I was still a stupid kid with a lot to learn.

Yes, realizing their input may not be relevant, but probably adaptable. You can learn a lot from people who have already learned it from life.

It depends.

If I wanted to know about exchange rates, I'd ask one, but if I wanted to know what time to plant, I'd ask the other.

Everyone's experience gives them unique insights. I'll ask the guy who I think knows what I want to know.

i would ask the 60yr old definately.......even though a person has never left their village, i'm sure that they have seen many changes in their years......
