Could be, but it doesn't mean it will happen. I lost my plug with my 4th child right at 40 weeks. And I still went to 42 weeks with her. I was exactly 14 days overdue.
But with my 3rd child, I lost my plug with her and just a few hours later she was here.
So, it all just depends on the baby.
Even if you have to be induced, the actual induction isn't as scary as it sounds.
Good Luck!

Since you have lost the mucus plug get ready your baby will be here as soon as a couple of hours to a day or two. If you start to feel contractions (tightening of the stomach) painful or not you need to get to the hospital. Water breaking can happen anytime

you need dilation and effacement in order to be ready for labor. Try walking around for a while and that will hopefully get things moving along. Otherwise you'll still have to face the induction on Monday.

It's getting closer, but labor could be today or a week from now. Get your rest and get ready. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

No, just because you EDD is soon, doesnt make labor imminent.
But there are things you can do to help it along, like an orgasm. Worked for me, I swear by it...

I'm not sure where people are getting this "it could still be weeks thing"...In every prenatal class I've ever had, they always say 1-3 days after your bloody show. For me it was 2 days later with each baby.
