It is about time someone stated the obvious.
Too many people characterize the Israel/USA relationship as one in which Israel calls the tunes and America dances to the rhythm. All the anti-semites who believe that Jews run the world see this as the logical order of things.
In the real world, where the sky is blue and the grass is green, the more powerful nation that gives billions of dollars in aid and defence support to the smaller nation is the one that is really setting the agenda.
And whose agenda appears to be at work in the Middle East today? Is it in Israel's best interests to enflame the entire region, get the Arab world more dedicated to their destruction and make themselves pariah to the world community as a result of constant images of Lebanese children wounded and dying?
Or is it in the interests of the warmonger chicken-hawks in Washington who have often stated their intentions of seeking regime change in Afghanistan (check), Iraq (check), Syria (still pending), Iran (still pending), North Korea (still pending) and anywhere else they see a buck to made for Halliburton?
BTW: Ever notice how reluctant the chicken-hawks are to take on North Korea versus the nuclear-power-free Arab nations who don't have a burgeoning super power on their doorstep that might get angry at a war being started on their doorstep?

You are either very young or very ill informed throwing around slogans will not help to convince anybody that you know what you are talking about. The state of Israel is defending itself from those arab extremists our goverment has let in as well I have to live with the ignorant agressive type of people everyday because I'm poor I can not move. I do not say that I hate them but I rather not live with them and good on Israel for fighting back and good on the USA for backing up Israel I hope they bomb them to the stone age because the religion that they pusue is from the stone age. Take care and think a little bit but never be shy to express your own opinion not sombody elses.

Israel primary the Patriot missiles and agreed to no longer get entangled interior the conflict, on u . s . of america's request. because of the fact it wasn't Israel's conflict.

Uh, gee, there seems to be this very slight problem of Hezbollah, Hamas, and Iran being committed to the destruction of Israel.
Kinda makes it tough for your rosy scenario to ever come into existence, doesn't it?
Reality bites!

maybe your poem should start with Islam, Islam instead of Israel, Israel... and then instead of the puppet part, ask why they continue to support terrorists and say they are a religion of peace.
