Don't you think is time to see a doctor? For a pain to last that long, has to be something serious. You are risking to lose your hearing.

You still need to be seen in an ER, they can help you with/without ins.
You will have to make payments. But you can make payments as low as $5-10 a month depending on your situation, some hospitals also allow credit card payments if you have that.
They cannot reject your care!
If you have an ear canal infection you can 1) ruin your ear drums, and 2) the infection can move into your blood stream into your brain!

Are you running a fever?
Is there anything at all running from your ears?
Pus is usually yellow or even green but anything coming from your ears at this point is not good.

Sometimes when we try to get matter out of our ears we push it in further.
Sometimes when showering, bathing or swimming we can get water in our ears, it pools into the tubes of our ears and rots, causing infections.

PLEASE if it has been 2 months you really need to seek professional help NOW!

**Can there be complications as a result of my child's ear infections?
Frequent ear infections or those that go untreated may lead to persistent hearing loss, which can cause speech delays in a young child. Since normal hearing is critical for speech and language development in the first three years of life, it's important to contact your paediatrician if you suspect an ear infection in your child. In rare cases, untreated ear infections can lead to serious complications, such as mastoiditis (an infection of the skull behind the ear), meningitis (an inflammation of the membranes around the brain and spinal cord), balance problems, and permanent hearing loss.

You probably have a strong infection in your ear, and could potentially damage your hearing.

Ear infections are caused by a fluid build-up in the Eustacian Tube (a small tube that runs from your ear to your throat)

So, first I would recommend a Decongestant from your drug store. Something that's typically to relieve Sinus Pressure. It will help 'dry out' the tube and prevent the infection from getting worse.

Second, ask your pharmacist if they have any anti-biotic ear drops (Polysporin for Ears, Auralgan, that sorta thing) and put it in your ear regularly... maybe before you go to bed (you may need a cotton ball in there to keep it in.

Lastly... if none of this helps... go to a clinic. Losing your hearing isn't worth it. It can usually be cleared up with some anti-biotics, and they may be able to give you some freebies.

Go to the E.R and run up a bill you can't pay. These types of bills aren't usually taken into account if you plan on buying a house or whatever. It beats being in pain! I mean eventually you can work out a payment plan but in the meantime get yourself some relief!

If you are having trouble opening your mouth it may be a mandibular joint (the hinge joint in your jaw) that is actually bothering you and the nerve is irritated...had you been to the dentist? does your jaw pop when you open your mouth wide. If the nerve that runs along the side of your face is inflamed from TMJ (temporal mandibular joint difficulties) it will cause severe pain in the ear. ask your doc, he can prescribe some antinflammatory medicines that may help

Sorry to say, but you need to go to the doctors, you need some antibotics. I have heard of toothaches a cause of ear aches. Good luck!

You need to go to a doctor. There's obviously an infection of some kind, and you could be seriously jeopardizing your hearing. This is not a time to self-treat!
