you see when the ac adapter is connect to it, some time the indecator light we be blinking. when trying to power it on. the light on the battry come up when you pless it. could it be the board that is bad, please tell me thank

Post the question again and be more specific: what happens when you turn on your notebook? What do you see on the screen? Do you get error messages?

OK here goes,
Check the power connections, see if the small leds on the battery light up when you perss the button on the battery.
Then check with a multimeter it there is any power when the mains adaptor is plugged in,

dell issues are best dealt with at dell.com.
make sure the battery is in even if you run the wall power- thats an old dell problem

Sounds like the system board needs to be replaced. Go here to find out if our machine is under warranty. If it is call them to have it replaced.

well first off it is not a shirt,
those you pull over your arms and head, then it rests on your shoulders.
