The color today is orange. That means go and hide under your desk and watch the TV or computer for updates. The last terror alert that truely startled me was the one three days before the November 2004 election. Since then nothing that comes out of the news media surprises me and I am a believer in good propaganda control. It really works, it freezes people in their tracks.....

9/11 came after the presidential elections. Your theory is full of holes.

I have never been and never will be afraid of terrorist. I am more affair that I will get shoot by an American robbing me. How many Americans have died in terrorist attacks over the years. Not as high as our murder rate. Why do you think they never took a Strong stance on it before. Tell me if this makes sense to you. Lets spend billions of dollars in Iraq instead of spending on our homeland security and I don't mean the Homeland security department. They will just funnel the money off some where. Why should we be so afraid of something less dangerous then the problems we have right here at home? Try millions of people die every year because they don't have health care that is Terrorism, hell that is genocide

If orange means go hide under the desk then I'm doing it wrong. They'll have to come and get me out in the open.
And, for the poster who thinks your "theory is full of holes". 9/11 was in 2001. Not 2004.
Buy a calender.

I say its propaganda. I just heard that it is raised to red in certain areas. I feel like they want us to be scared yet still go fly. They want us to use carry on luggage yet can't put our toiletries in there. I'm getting really tired of this. I know they want to protect us from those who want to kill us. However, I enjoy traveling and I want my toothpaste and hand lotion. I can't tell you how many times my luggage has been lost or I missed my connecting flight. Every time I thank myself that I have my toiletries.

Next thing they are going to require is that we arrive naked! I don't find myself afraid anymore. We're all going to "go on" in the world. It just may come later/sooner. I just wish our government wouldn't make us want to hide in an underground bunker and store up on bottled water.

Its becoming ridiculous. I tried last year to apply for a summer job overseas. I was blatenly told that they wouldn't hire me because I'm an American. We are jinxing ourselves and I'm not sure when life will resume to somewhat state of normalcy.

Its funny how conservatives think that people who question the governments involvement with Sept. 11th are crazy. At least we have some kind of relavent proof to back our statements up.

When did it all of the sudden become a bad thing to question the motives and actions of your government? Do you want to live in a facist society? Are free-thinkers a conservatives nightmare? Do you really think your government is capable of no wrong?

Typical liberal - obsessed with domestic politics and not realizing that the world is threatened by Jihadists who want ALL OF US to die.

Many liberals appear not to take the wider, global battle against Islamic fanaticism seriously. They see Iraq purely as a symptom of a cynical and politicized right-wing response to Sept. 11, as opposed to a tragic misstep in a bigger conflict.

In fact, JIHAD has been waged against the West since Muhammad died only 1,400 years ago.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan don't like the methods of Al Qaeda because they prefer the strategic long-term tactic of INVASION BY IMMIGRATION.

In 1968, liberals refused to acknowledge the Communist threat. Today, recent events point to the growing influence within the Left that is unmoved by the fight against global jihad.

ONLY WHEN THE LEFT AND THE LIBERAL MEDIA REALIZE THAT WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE AT RISK OF JIHAD WILL THE FIGHT FINALLY BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.

Jihad should have everyone on alert all the time, not only after an attack.
