Something is wrong with the tuner on my Sony Wega. I can't pull in channels w/o fuzz from the cable, but if I go through VCR (putting it on VHS) I get reception fine. Should I try changing the cable or is this within my TV.

Try another cable first, and if thisdoesn't clear it up, then it could very well be a problem in the electronic turner on the tv. Check with a repair shop, and see what they think.

OK I had the same problem....
so you disconnect everything and reconnect
first autoprogram your tv
then autoprogram your VCR
the manual is confusing for both the TV and VCR...you need to make sure you use the TV remote and that the correct buttons on the remote are lighting up when you change channels
Under FUNCTION on the TV VCR the TV button should light up..when you are watching the TV
it took some time to figure it out for me
To ENSURE your TV is OK here is the true test
disconnect the VCR...
make sure your TV is autoprogrammed and if the TV pulls in all the channels your TV is OK..but again you must check the Function buttons..and the tv/dvd/vcr/ buttons are all correct
ther is nothing wrong with your TV or your VCR...

The best way to test your television is to get a new cable to run from the wall source of your cable to the Antenna A input of the Wega. Make sure the Wega is set to Antenna A (read the manual if you don't know how to do this) and do a channel scan.
