"Do you want to live or die?"

Problem is there's 50% chance that if you say 'live' he will pull the trigger and 50% chance that if you say 'die' he will do the same.

I would ask him back the same question: "Do you want me to live or die?"
If he say he wants me dead, I will say thank you for ending my life.. that would properly prompted him to ask why.. which then my answer would be.. I rather be in heaven than with my dreadful husband/mother-in-law/parents,etc... He will most probably pity me & let me go.... lol....

i want to live, by saying die, its if i have given up in life. life is just to precious to give up that easily. even though i only have 50% chance of living, i will take that 50%.

If there is a fifty percent chance that I could die by choosing one of your two options, I wouldn't say anything. There is no right answer. I wouldn't give him, or her, the gratification of answering.

My life is a small thing compared the delights that await a brother in the Hereafter.
In short, I do not fear death, so "live or die, cuz"...

I'd wait till my bowels finished emptying themselves, find saliva somewhere in my open-mouth to form the words "Die fighting!" then try to unnumb my legs and reach his/her outstreched hand before he/she tenses his/her fingers, or I'd look for a hidden camera, find my humour and ask: "Which one comes with fries?"- maybe he/she giggles and lets me live. Depends on my mood, if it's suicidal day, or superman hour.

Must know: Are your hands tied behind your back or are they free? Either way I would do anything I could to survive.

I would pray, ask to call my family, and then, as I would be preparing to die, I would smack the gun out of his/her hand.

I'd say "die fighting" and then I'd fight for my very life.
