the other day my husband left his cell phone in my car. Someone called and when I answered it they hung up...it was one of those calls that you know someone else is on the line but after saying hello a couple of times they just hang up without saying anything. I didn't recognize the number but it was local to where my husband works. I am sure that I over reacted when I asked him about it, but he said it was probably just a wrong number, then I said...ok lets call it back and see who it was for sure...he said ok, then when I asked to see his phone to get the number to call he refused to let me look at it....he brought up another time when a guy called my phone and it was a wrong number, (but it really was and the person calling actually did say something) I guess what is really bothering me is that they didn't say anything, and that he wouldn;t let me look at his phone. Am I over reacting?

I guess I should mention that my husband has a tendency to get really involved in his co-workers lives(listening to all their problems and trying to make evrything better)....he swears that he has never cheated on me, but there have been times when he has put the problems and feelings of his co-worker ahead of mine so...yes there are trust issues....oh and I don't think I mentioned it is always only the female co-workers. I used to believe that he was really this great and sensitive guy that wants to solve everyones problems for them but....when it comes to me...he just will NOT listen to whats bothering me. He used to....there have been times in the past when he would sit up all night and talk to me if something was bothering me, but now he just tells me to shut up and let him sleep.

I wouldn't worry about it since it only happened once. If the calls become more frequent or he changes his behavior or schedule then I would start to worry.

Good luck!

Trust. You think that he wouldn't let you look at it again because he was hiding something, but what if it was just because he thought you were being really foolish. I get a hundred wrong number calls to my phone every month, people trying to dial while they are driving tend to hit the wrong number exspecially when they are dialing a number that isn't in their saved list.

Has he given you any clue at all that there may be something going on??? If so, Even cell phones have a call forward option. Get his phone one day and forward the calls to your phone, than any incoming call numbers will be logged on your phone.....IF you really feel you have to do it.

If you think he's cheating.......just ask him.

if he wouldn't show you the phone, then it was NOT a wrong number. and you know it. i say, scare him. have a lawyer serve him with divorce papers. you don't have to go through with a divorce, but he is walking ALL over you and he has NO RESPECT for you as a person if he wouldn't show you the phone. i know, that you know, that i am correct.

You will never really know! All you can do is make sure you are making your marriage a enjoyable thing for BOTH of you and you would not have to worry!

No you are not overreacting, if your husband had nothing to hide he would have let you look at his phone. Sorry to be so blunt but thats how I feel. Talk to him.... good luck
